Can my man get out of his possession charge

Updated • 6 months 2 weeks ago

So my man was arrested in delavan for meth possession. We went to the hotel that he got arrested at and went right inside. When we were checking in we noticed two cops by my car so we went outside to ask them what was up and then all of a sudden a third cop came with a drug dog and said that somebody called on us and said that there was three people in the car doing drugs. Well none of those two things are true because there was only two of us and we went right inside after parking.  They didn't even go inside to see the proof that there was only two of us and that we just pulled up they just automatically searched the car with the dog. This is his first possession but my car was illegally searched. Can he get out of this ?
