Can I use a copy of my bio-fathers will to verify paternity?

Updated • 7 months ago

My biological father, Arthur Vernon Brain died at The Dallas, OR Veterans Hospital, October 2022 due to Bone Cancer and other complications associated with exposures to toxic water at Camp Lejuene (basic training) and later of Agent Orange. He served 2 tours in The Vietnam War. Would like to find out if pursuing a claim is feasible, due to divorce and no communication, my bio-sister and I were estranged from our father until being notified of his death and being subsequently made aware of his will etc. I am not the executor, our step-sister is and after the initial contact last year has not responded to any of my attempts to reconnect since then. I have the will which would give proof of paternity, if needed due to this situation. Thank you and Please advise. ([email protected]).
